Series 7000 Aluminum Doors

Doors and framing provide a non-intrusive, conventional look to a security entrance or storefront system

  • UL Levels 1-8, NIJ I, II, IIIA, III, IV, DOS 7.62 NATO, DIN C1-C5
  • Shipped pre-hung, factory assembled and finished with BR glazing
  • Standard finishes: clear and dark bronze anodized; custom colors and/or Kynar paint available
  • Made of 6063-T6 extruded aluminum alloy
  • Standard 3'x7' with custom sizes available
  • Available with matching sidelights or transoms
  • Doors available with narrow (3-3/4") or monumental (6") width stiles
  • Monumental stile accepts a wide range of hardware including commercial mortise locksets and rim mounted exit devices

NS7000 Series - Aluminum

Used with an NS 7000 Series door, the unit provides a complete security barrier

  • UL Levels 1-8, NIJ I, II, III, IIIA, IV, DIN C1-C5, 7.62 NATO, 5.56 mm
  • Suitable for a variety of applications and easily upgradable
  • Conventional look will not intrude upon its surroundings
  • Standard framing has 2" or 2-1/2" face profile and 4-1/2", 5-1/2", or 6-3/4" deep. Custom profiles available
  • Can accommodate glazing thickness from 1/4" to 2-3/4"
  • Factory or field glazed
  • Retrofit or new construction
  • Options include thermal break framing, transparent, architectural or opaque glazings and sliding windows
  • Tested for air & water infiltration in accordance with ASTM E283 and ASTM E331
  • AAMA certified for CRF and structural performance
  • Independently certified for blast resistant applications

  • Suitable for a variety of applications and easily upgradable
  • Conventional look will not intrude upon its surroundings
  • Standard framing has 2" or 2-12" face profile and 4-1/2", 5-1/2", or 6-3/4" deep. Custom profiles available
  • Can accommodate glazing thickness from 1/4" to 2 3/4"
  • Factory or field glazed
  • Retrofit or new construction
  • Options include sliding windows, thermal break framing, transparent, architectural or opaque glazings
  • Stainless steel deal tray with shelf option as plastic laminate or stainless steel

Norshield NS 1000 & 2000 Series Doors (15/60 minute Forced Entry and Ballistic Protection)

  • Meets Department of State SD-STD-01.01 Revision G Forced entry requirements and ballistic requirements for high power rifle and 15 minute force protection.
  • Available in vision and opaque models.
  • Available in single or double door configurations.
  • Doors can be used in interior applications, galvanized for exterior use, or wherever a 15 minute threat level occurs.
  • Standard paint finish is Sherwin Williams Polane Polyurethane Enamel.
  • Shipped as pre-hung assemblies with continuous hinge and NG-225 glazing.

Norshield NS 1600 Series Doors (5 minute Forced Entry Protection)

  • Meets Department of State SD-STD-01.01 Revision G Forced entry requirements and is designed to withstand 5 min. of forced entry protection from a variety of tools
  • Available in single, double, full vision and opaque models.
  • Available in single or double door configurations.
  • Doors can be used in interior applications, galvanized for exterior use, or wherever a 5 minute threat level occurs.
  • Standard paint finish is Sherwin Williams Polane Polyurethane Enamel.
  • Shipped as pre-hung assemblies with continuous hinge and NG-75 glazing.
  • DOS model # for vision door GDT-05N-NOR-04.

  • Constructed of FibreShield fiberglass armor and wood veneer, laminated into a solid unit
  • Frames are available in single or double rabbet designs with steel, stainless or aluminum construction
  • Shipped pre-hung, factory assembled and finished with BR Glazing
  • Birch or Red Oak is standard, with other veneers readily available
