Is Norshield the same thing as Norment?

Yes and No. Norment security group is a family of security companies organized to provide a greater breadth of security equipment and services. This includes securing jails, prisons, courthouses, retailers, banks, embassies, consulates, GSA facilities, DOD facilities, university facilities. This security takes the form of electronic controls and monitoring, hardline resistance, perimeter detection, and vehicular access. Norshield manufactures and installs hardline and vehicular security measures. But with the added support of Norment Security Group and to an even greater extent, Compudyne Corporation, most security needs can be addressed.

Does Norshield install its own products?

Yes. Norshield just happens to be the foremost expert on its own equipment and the most efficient installation techniques. We currently have crews deployed domestically and abroad to manage or install Norshield product. Norshield reserves the right to subcontract this service to qualified and trained contractors.
